About Us
Vessels of Praise Ministry was formed in March of 2000.  We are members of the Lakeland's Southern Gospel
Music Association.  The three singers are all original group members.  The number one mission of the group is
to see souls saved, as it should be with all Christians.  We do not close doors.  If God opens a door, then he will
provide the way.  Our group ministers on a love offering basis.  We do have expenses and ask that churches and
other organizations try to cover these when we travel.
We use live music and some sound tracks when singing.  The current group members are Chuck Bagwell
(Singer/Manager), Ann Bagwell (Singer/Keyboard), Arzella Stephens (Singer), Danny Beeco (Drummer), and
Eric Berry (Bass Player).
Chuck Bagwell, co-founder, lives in the Hickory Tavern Community of Laurens County, SC.  He has served as
minister of music in his home church.  He served God as a teenager, but as he got older, he drifted into the
worldly ways.  In June 1995, Chuck rededicated his life to the Lord.  He has since been called to preach and is in
the process of pursuing that call.   He will continue to sing as well as preach until God changes his direction.
Ann Bagwell, co-founder, has been married to Chuck since August 1995.  She attended Lee College in
Tennessee.  She has been playing the Piano in church since she was 8 years old.  She teaches piano when the
group is not on the road ministering.  She is an excellent teacher of the Word of God.  Ann has recorded her
own project of her favorite music on the piano.  Music has always been Ann's heart.
Arzella Stephens is an original member of the group.  She lives in the Laurens, SC.  Her husband, David, helps
the group as needed.   He is an excellent prayer warrior for the group.  Arzella is the daughter of Rev. Barker of
the Church of God of Prophecy. She has always dreamed of singing with a gospel group and thanks God
everyday for the opportunity He has given her.  Arzella has an excellent testimony of how God has brought her
through so much turmoil in her life.  She has dedicated herself to praising God for what He has done for her.
Danny Beeco joined Vessels of Praise in June 2002.  He is one of the finest drummers known in gospel music.
Danny lives in Williamston, SC.  Danny lived the Job experience.  He lost everything he had and was homeless.
After living on the streets for a while, God restored him.  He is now married to a wonderful lady, Melinda.  He
has a heart of gold He will give of himself to anyone who is in need.  He believes God uses him to touch those
who may be less fortunate than others.  He always has a testimony in his heart for what God has done.
Eric Berry, the newest member of the group, resides in Ward, SC.  He was with the group for a short period
of time in 2005.  He returned to the group in August 2006.  He believes this is where God wants him to be and is
willing to go wherever God opens doors.  Eric gets into the music when he is playing.  He gets to feeling happy
and can not stand still.  He has played several types of music over the years, but gospel music has always been
his favorite.  It is our pleasure to have Eric back with us.
